Shivalik Nitrocellulose Lacquer clear wood finish is a premium-quality, nitrocellulose-based basecoat designed to seal wooden surfaces effectively and create a smooth foundation for topcoat applications. Specially formulated for fast drying and excellent sandability, it is ideal for interior wood finishing, helping to fill surface pores and enhance the final appearance of the finish.

Recommended Applications:

• Wooden furniture (tables, chairs, beds, wardrobes)

• Doors, cabinets, window frames

• Plywood, MDF, veneer, and solid wood surfaces

• Decorative wood items and interior wooden structures

Surface Preparation:

• Sand the surface with 180–320 grit sandpaper

• Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and dust-free before application

Application Method:

• Stir well before use

• Apply by spray gun for best results

• Thin with Shivalik NC Thinner to required viscosity

• Apply 1–2 coats with light sanding (320–400 grit) between coats

• Do not over-apply to avoid surface cracking

Drying Time:

• Surface Dry: 10–15 minutes

• Sandable: 30–45 minutes

• Recoatable: After 1 hour

Finish:
Smooth matte base, ready for NC Lacquer or Melamine topcoat
